Cookies & Browser Storage

Understand what NuvoPage stores on your device and choose whether to allow optional analytics.

Effective September 18, 2026

Your choice

Google Analytics does not load until you accept analytics. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using NuvoPage. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection in this browser and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already sent to Google.

Essential cookies

Supabase authentication uses cookies to maintain sign-in and refresh sessions. Names typically begin with sb- and may be split into several cookies. Their lifetime depends on session settings and refresh activity. These cookies are necessary for signed-in features and are separate from the analytics choice.

Optional analytics cookies

If accepted, Google Analytics can set _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. Google’s default expiry is two years, but configuration and browser restrictions can change it. Analytics may include page visits, interactions, and browser or device information. We disable Google signals and advertising personalization in our tag configuration.

See Google’s cookie documentation and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Browser storage

NuvoPage uses session storage for temporary navigation history, visitor theme choices, and QR-generator preferences. Local storage can remember promotion rotation and access state for Apps. These records are separate from analytics cookies. Session storage generally lasts for the browser tab’s session; local storage remains until cleared by you, the browser, or the app.

Your analytics choice is stored locally under nuvopage:analytics-consent:v1 for up to 180 days before we ask again. It applies to this browser and website origin. A different browser, device, or custom domain can require its own choice.

Installed apps and Signage

Installed website apps may cache content. The Signage player stores its connection credential, slideshow settings, and downloaded images for offline playback. This device storage is needed for the player and is not controlled by the web analytics preference. Clear app data or reset the device before transferring it to another person.

Managing storage and external services

You can remove cookies and site data through your browser settings. This can sign you out, clear saved App access, and reset preferences. Embedded or external services may use their own storage and privacy controls; our analytics choice does not control services after you follow an external link.
